How long in the average turnaround for an enquiry/quote?
Depending on the complexity of the enquiry, most are dealt with within 24 hours of receiving them. More complex jobs will be dealt with within 2-3 working days, unless otherwise requested.
What are the average lead times?
We aim for 2-3 weeks depending on the job being undertaken and our work load at the time, although, we aim to meet any deadlines set by our customers if it is required on a quick turnaround basis.
Do we work overtime to meet customer demands?
Yes, our main objective is to satisfy our customers’ needs. If this involves working extra hours through the night and over weekends we will do this to ensure we meet the deadline set.
What size batches can we produce?
With the machines we have we can cover all batch sizes, from one off bespoke products through to 1000 offs. With the large batch numbers we can offer a trial run of fewer numbers, to ensure that you, the customer is satisfied with the product before committing to the larger batch.
What materials do we machine?
We machine most of your conventional metals – Carbon Steels (EN1A, EN8, EN24T) Tool Steels – (D2, D3, 01, P20) All grades of aluminium, stainless steel (303, 304, 316 (Magnetic stainless steel), as well as some of the more exotic material such as super duplex, monel, incalloy, inconel, hastalloy. We also manufacture using plastics such as polyeth, poly prop, polyeurothane, acetal, peek.
We have the facilities to turn and surface grind hardened material up to 62RC.
Are we ISO quality certified?
Not as yet. We have all the procedures in place to guarantee that the end product is to every specification that you require, undergoing stringent inspection through every stage of production. A list of these procedures can be obtained on request.
Do we have in house fabrication facilities?
No, however we do work closely with a number of well established fabrication companies, so if part of the job involves welding etc we can get the job done for you. Alternatively we can refer you to the company that best suits your needs.
Do we have the facilities for protective/asthetic coatings such as chrome plating, anodising etc?
We do work closely with numerous coating companies, whether it be electroplating, anodising, chemical blacking or powder coating. We can provide you with your product in whatever finish you require at a highly competitive price.
